-This was most likely a reward dinner for a winning fire prevention parade float. Before cash awards were given the chief officers cooked dinner at the winning station.

-BC Zaranka was the Northside Batt Chief when there was only two district officers per shift and an Assistant Chief was the shift commander
-BC Zaranka was well known for waking everyone up at Station 1 with the big bell, even after his retirement

-These cutouts were kidnapped from Station 15 for a ransom. The ransom was never paid and the cutouts disappeared forever. If you have any information on the whereabouts of these cartoon characters, please email me.
